Parents,
Kindergarten will be going on a field trip to Olympus High School on Friday, November 7th.  This is also a short day.  This means that all kindergarten students will attend school that day from 8:10-10:10 A.M.  A note will be coming home this week to explain the field trip in more detail.  I only need a couple of helpers.  If you are interested in helping out, click on the "Volunteers" tab and click on the appropriate button for A.M. or P.M. volunteers.

Parents,
Thursday, October 30th will be the school-wide parade.  It begins at 8:30 A.M.  Sixth grade will be entertaining the parents for a few minutes and then kindergarten will sing a handful of songs.  I would get there early for a good seat.  Please have your child wear his/her Halloween costume.

I would love it if the afternoon class could join us.  If possible, please bring your afternoon child to the classroom at 8:15 A.M. and pick them up immediately following the conclusion of the parade.

Thursday will be a short day and there will be no school on Friday, October 31st.

It should be a fun filled day.  I am excited to see what plans the volunteers have made for the classroom parties.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Tomorrow (10/2/14) is the walking field trip to the apple orchard.  All kindergarten students will attend school from 8:15 to 11:15 A.M.  There will be no afternoon kindergarten that day.

Please have your child dress appropriately for the weather.  We will be walking in the morning, so it might be a bit chilly.  A sweatshirt would probably be a good idea.

We will need all of the help we can get.  Anyone who would like to come and help out is welcome to.  We will be leaving at 9:30.
