On Wednesday, May 13th all kindergarten students will be having lunch at school just like a first grader! This is always a highlight of the school year. This is also an opportunity to teach the lunch time procedures.. The cost of a school lunch is $1.50. I an sending home an envelope today for you to send the payment to school with your child. If you have any questions, let me know.
On Wednesday, May 20th we will be taking a field trip to the Hogle Zoo. All kindergarten students will attend school from 8:15 to 11:15 A.M.
Friday, May 29th will be our kindergarten program. School will follow the short day schedule. The program lasts approximately one hour. The times are listed below.
A.M. kindergarten - 9:00 A.M.
P.M. kindergarten - 11:30 A.M.
And finally, end-of-year testing appointments will be held June 1st through 5th. You will need to visit the Online Scheduler and sign your child up for an appointment. The appointments last approximately 30 minutes. Please sign up by May 25th. The link is provided below and the password is “rosecrest.” Let me know if you have any problems getting into the system.
