Yesterday we had the unique experience of having Saturday's Waffles visit us here at Rosecrest! The kids were able to see the tools used to make the many varieties of delicious waffles. They had banana slicers, strawberry slicers, and ice cream scoops. Who knew that ice cream could be a waffle topping?
The kids also got to tour the inside of the waffle trailer to see how the whole operation works. I think a popular attraction was the whipped cream dispenser. This was a wonderful experience for the kids to be able to see the inner workings of a family business. If you have not had the Saturday's Waffle experience, you can find them at the Olympus Hills Shopping Center (3900 S. Wasatch Blvd.) every Saturday. I promise you...you won't be disappointed.
Many, many thanks to Analeis and Richard Larsen for taking the time to share the waffle trailer with us. It was wonderful!
Have a great weekend!
