Parents,
We are off to a great start here in first grade! We are sending home another list of sight words. These are review words from kindergarten. If your child can read them that is fantastic. If not, please practice the words with your child. Next week we will be starting our first unit in Wonders. You can expect to see spelling words for your child to practice and paper books for reading practice.
Tomorrow (Tuesday, 8/30) is picture day! Also, don’t forget that Monday, September 5th is Labor Day and there will be no school that day.
